Part of the #IAmNewOrleans project, FutureFest brought together a collective of speakers, creative leaders, and community organizations to provide the stories and tools needed to help students navigate their future. This month, we have sat down with some amazing youth participating in the Youth Climate Action Fund in New Orleans. These future leaders have started climate initiatives designed to raise awareness and combat specific effects of climate change in our community. Molly has started Carnival Kids- a start up business designed to replace plastic waste at Mardi Gras parades. She came through the studio to tell us more about her bamboo cups, her collaboration with Grounds Krewe NOLA, and how much she loves power tools!
